What is the Healing Ministry?

The Healing Ministry provides a faith-filled environment where participants are invited to encounter God’s healing presence, experience His love and mercy, and grow in openness to the Holy Spirit.

Through Scripture, guided prayer, guided healing exercises, participants are encouraged to recognize their identity as beloved children of God, embrace the truth of His promises, and grow in deeper communion with Him.

What can I gain from participating?

Participants will be given practical tools and guided exercises that can help them:

  • Pray more deeply and develop a more meaningful daily prayer life.
  • Reflect on Sacred Scripture and discover how God speaks to them through His Word and into their lives.
  • Recognize unhealthy or negative beliefs about themselves and replace them with the truth of God’s promises.
  • Bring emotional and spiritual wounds to prayer, inviting God’s grace into areas of pain and struggle.
  • Experience the freedom of forgiveness by receiving God’s mercy and learning to extend forgiveness to others.
  • Become more aware of God’s presence in their everyday lives.
  • Becoming more attentive to the guidance and work of the Holy Spirit.
  • Grow in spiritual confidence, peace, and freedom as they deepen their relationship with God.

Who is this ministry for?

We welcome adults 25 years and older who desire spiritual or emotional healing, a deeper relationship with God, or a renewed awareness of His presence in their lives.

Who leads the ministry?

Paola Roditti leads this new ministry with a deep desire to help others encounter God’s healing love and the power of the Holy Spirit.

Paola completed a two-year program at the Bronx, New York campus of the Encounter School of Ministry (ESM), receiving formal and practical formation in the life, power, and gifts of the Holy Spirit.

In addition, Paola has served for nine years on the Intercessory Prayer Team for the Emmaus Women’s Retreat, under the guidance of Rev. Ian Jeremiah, Pastor of Saint Ann Church in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

The Encounter School of Ministry is welcomed and supported by Bishop Frank Caggiano of the Diocese of Bridgeport, who described the program as providing participants with “a deeper understanding of the life, power and gifts of the Holy Spirit.”
