Family Formation Levels 1-5

Children AND parents receive twice monthly formation sessions on the first and third Sunday every month. Level 1 & level 2 will leave the church following the homily to have their own session. Level 1 will use the Faith & Life series, Our Heavenly Father, and Level 2 will use the Dynamic Catholic series, Blessed, by Matthew Kelly.

Following the Mass, levels 3-5 will meet in the church hall in small groups, while parents stay in the church for a short discussion led by the priest. Our formation sessions for children and parents coincide with the Sunday Gospel, giving families the opportunity to continue the conversation with one another at home. Our faith formation puts emphasis on the role of parents as the first witnesses of the faith and is designed for students aged 6-11.

Along with bi-weekly in person sessions, the Director of Faith Formation will email the weekly Gospel readings to parents ahead of each Sunday for families to see the Sunday readings come alive in the animated videos. This is a great way to spend time with one another and learn together.

During the summer months, readings, videos and activities will continue to be sent to view at home or away while on vacation together.

We offer support to families year-round, whether attending Mass at home or away on vacation. Faith Formation builds on the foundation of living a life of discipleship and encountering Christ through one another.
