Welcoming Our Lady of Fatima into your Home

A letter from Marigle Barragan

Dear Parishioners,

I invite the NEW Parishioner families and individuals of St. Michael Parish to HOST Our Blessed Mother in your home.

I grew up seeing at my Grandparent’s and Parent’s house diverse images of our Lord, our Blessed Mother and Saints. Those statues would come to visit us and they were always present in our daily lives. The statues would be located at the main hall of the house where all of us and our visitors would see them and stopped to pray to them. That Hall was the place where we, as children united with my grandparents, parents and family, would pray together the Rosary.

Praying, talking to them became a normal and beautiful experience. It was a special place where we knew we could feel safe and at peace. So, on Fridays a new image of our Jesus, our Blessed Mother, Saint Joseph and some Saints would alternate their visits to our home and other families' homes.

I thought about my experience and I pondered if it would be a good invitation to you to have the image of Our LADY of FATIMA staying at your home for some time.

Lady Fatima Experience

The statue of our Lady of FATIMA has visited many parishioner families . Please read the testimonials below.

"Thank you for accommodating " our Lady of Fatima ". It was a blessing having her in our home .  I was praying for something and asked her to help me . We enjoyed her company when she was around. After I returned her, I noticed that I was praying for some things that I thought were priority, but somehow I understood that " Our Lady of Fatima " helped me to realize some other areas that I needed help the most ."

"Our family had the lovely experience of having Lady Fatima in our home for about 1 month last summer. I loved having her presence in our home. It was a wonderful experience. Our daughters, aged 12 and 14 were curious and engaged in having her. It sparked a lot of conversation about the importance of our faith, which was a blessing. She added warmth and comfort to our home, and it was great to always see her sitting by the fireplace. It was a special time and a new beginning of a family tradition. We ended up buying our own Lady Fatima. She stands as a permanent fixture in our family room. "
